Lake Fork. Emory, Tx. Date March 7th 1999 Water temp. 57.8 Air temp. 59 1st bass caught at 9:a.m. white spinnerbait 3ft of water. 2nd bass caught at 10:a.m. white spinnerbait 3-4ft of water. 3rd bass caught at 12:00 green "bomber A" 5ft of water. 4th bass caught at 2:p.m. on green "bomber A" also known from now on as "tried and true" in 5ft of water. 5th bass caught at 4:10 p.m. on "tried and true" in 5ft of water. 6th bass caught at 4:15 p.m. on "tried and true" in 6ft of water. | ||||||||||||||||

Coldest day in weeks. Moon charts said it was the worst day in two months. But fishin fever had me. I launched the boat at 7:00 a.m. and went straight to my honey holes, no luck. The wind was blowing out of the east at 15-25 mph. It was too windy to fish the west shore, so I consentrated soley on the east shore. I did not see any top water baitfish action. | ||||||||||||||||
